This is a view on the Fischunkelalm, on the Obersee in the Berchtesgadener Land, just beyond the Saletalm. It’s one of the most beautiful spots in Germany, in an area that is marked by the country’s Nazi history. This particular spot, which is quite difficult to reach, is devoid of any connotations to any kind of history. I truly believe that time has stopped there at some point and, no, I don’t mean by me pressing the shutter release of my camera. This is the place where I’d live if I won the lottery and live if I lost everything. But not now. Now I just look at the picture.
