I was in the mountains with two friends. We decided to separate for a little while, and I wanted to go take some pictures on my own. When I was in the woods I saw a light, like a glare, that shone out of the pines. I decided to follow it, thinking it was a window of an alpine hotel somewhere in the distance. Or maybe a snow cap on a mountain.
I started walking towards the light, but then it disappeared. I kept climbing up the mountain, and the light came back again. After 45 minutes, I reached the peak, but I saw no light. What a surreal moment — how can a light so bright vanish into thin air? Then the wind rose, the clouds disappeared. I realized I was following the sun.
