The picture shows the view from my ex-husband's apartment. That marriage was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. But it made me the person who I am today. And that can only be a good thing. This is the reason why I love pictures and it's actually my favorite one: it reminds me that it is possible to get out of a vicious circle even if this means losing pretty much everything you own on a material level. Freedom is worth it.
