Istabraq Al Naiar

I arrived late to my graduation and missed the rehearsals; I was given a piece of paper with my name written on it, not knowing what to do with it. I kept it in my pocket. They announced the names of the graduates, and I waited in line for my turn to get on stage and receive my certificate. When it was my turn, I just kept waiting for my name to be announced. One of the supervisors pushed me forward to go up the stage even though my name wasn’t announced.

When the ceremony was over I was told that the paper with my name on it was supposed to be given to the speaker. I told them I had no idea, and they said that I should have attended the rehearsals. This picture was taken an hour before this event has occurred, and it reminds me of how clueless I was of the events ahead of me.
